Hi there… I am not a nerd, I promise. I am just a teenager who loves God and loves writing as well. It probably has nothing to do with anything, but I am not the greatest fan of poetry. Not because it is bad or anything, but because I have struggled to find myself in it. Of course, as a student, I have come across different poets and their works, and even as a writer myself, I have dabbled in and out of it despite not knowing the first thing about it. Regardless, I came across this beautiful piece by Marianne Williamson, and it has since become one of my greatest sources of motivation and my favorite poem.
While you are here, reading my blog and are probably wondering about the mind shaping you, it is only fair that I share with you, as an introduction to me, some or one of the things that have shaped me.
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world.
There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure
around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to
make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we’re liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others”

So there you have it. A little something about me. Cheers to shining brighter, boldly and beautifully. It is truly lovely to meet you!!!!
